For the most accurate results, ask someone to help you measure if possible. Use a soft measuring tape, wear lightweight clothing, and stand naturally with good posture.
1. Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, under your arms and across your back. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
2. Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist (your natural waistline), usually just above your belly button. Breathe normally — don’t hold your breath.
3. Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, about 7–9 inches below your waist. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
4. Full Length (Height)
Stand straight with bare feet together. Measure from the top of your head down to the floor.
5. Hollow to Floor
Stand barefoot. Measure from the hollow at the base of your neck (between your collarbones) straight down to the floor.
6. Waist to Hem
For dresses with a defined waist, measure from your natural waistline down to where you want the hem to end.
7. Shoulder Width
Measure across your back from the outer edge of one shoulder to the other.
8. Arm Length
Measure from the top of your shoulder down to your wrist. Keep your arm slightly bent.
9. Neck Circumference
Measure around the base of your neck where a collar would sit.
10. Sleeve Length
Measure from the shoulder seam down to where you want the sleeve to end. Slightly bend your arm while measuring.
11. Upper Arm
Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.
12. Forearm
Measure around the fullest part of your forearm, just below the elbow.
